the cleanse is a gentle detox where the body goes into self-repair and restore mode (the process of autophagy). it will ultimately reset your body to its optimal functional state. you will feel lighter, more energetic and will likely lose weight.
-
no - not at all. in fact, the bySILKE 5-day guided fast is not designed around losing weight. however, losing weight is a very likely outcome of this cleanse.

pregnant women, underweight people, people with eating disorders, and chronically ill people should not do this cleanse.

you can mentally prepare by going to bed earlier, reducing your caffeine and alcohol intake, getting your juicer and hot water bottle ready and downloading some light, uplifting movies or shows a few days before the cleanse.
it’s also a good idea to review the bySILKE shopping list and organize your pantry.

ideally you should do this guided bySILKE cleanse twice a year. however, you could do it as often as 4-5x a year. you could also extend the length of the fast to 10 days (even up to 21 days with the supervision of a doctor) to achieve even better results.
